Pattachitra Paintings from Odisha or Orissa is one of the oldest form of paintings in India, traditionally , this art form was only depicted on cloth, but over a period of time it has slowly evolved on different media and many artistes have also now started showcasing their own forms of Pattachitra.

Pattachitra paintings are mostly based on characters from Hindu mythology, they are mostly inspired by the old murals of temples of Bhubaneshwar, Konark and Puri, dating back to 5th century BC.

This painting celebrates the love of Krishna for his beloved Radha.
